Let's make your project

land.

Hello, I’m Robert. Communications Strategist based in Brussels. I help good work reach the people it's for, with the strategy, the structure to run it, and the skills to keep it going.

How can I help you?

Most projects start with a sentence like one of these. The rest, we’ll figure out together.

Your case sounds different?
Tell me anyway.

Some of my work

Digital-first strategy your team can actually run.

Working
with
organisations

I shape your strategy, set up how your team runs it, and come back to keep it on track.

Start

It usually begins with a workshop: "Just tell me everything, we'll find a place for it."

Then we test it against your audiences and shape it into a strategy or a campaign plan: what to say, to whom, in what order, and who does what.

Build

The way it runs day to day: planning, workflows and tools for your comms team (often in Notion), and training so your own people can keep it going.

Launching something new? I can set up the launch too: the website, your channels and their templates, and a first content calendar.

Stay

I come back regularly, a day a month or every few months, to see what's working, adjust what isn't and clear what's stuck. When someone on your team moves on, the knowledge stays.

Already have a comms team?
I come in as reinforcement, not replacement.

Working
with

agencies

I'm the strategist you bring in for the thinking. I've run a team inside an agency, so I know what your Thursday looks like. I find what the audience needs to feel, write the brief that gets to the creative idea, and make sure it lands and works everywhere.

I'll tell you what I'd recommend and why. If you go another way, I'll tell you what you'd be giving up. And for what I don't do, I bring in the right people.

Bids:
the strategy section, written to hold up in evaluation

Campaigns:
the direction and the brief, then how it adapts across countries, partners and channels

Operations:
planning and workloads your team can sustain, so what you sell is what you deliver

Workshops
and teaching

I teach and coach on what I've done myself: communication strategy, digital channels, campaigns that run through networks, and the systems behind a comms team.

As workshops for your team, masterclasses for your clients under your name, or sessions in your course or training programme.

Not ready for a project? Start with a second opinion.

A short written review of your strategy, campaign or bid: what's strong, what's at risk, and what's missing. Fixed scope, a clear price upfront, with one session or a note your team can act on.

How I got here

I started where communication ends: the part people actually see. In 2010 I was a student volunteer in Łódź, making posters and Facebook posts to get people excited about studying abroad. The Erasmus Student Network became my playground, and by 2013 I was running its international communication from Brussels.

Since then I've worked my way back to where it begins. At an agency, I went from running social media for EU campaigns to leading the team that made it, then building a new department and the systems that held it together. Today I start at the beginning: the strategy, and everything it needs to work.

Along the way, I also became the person who explains how it all works: training volunteers across Europe, coaching the people I hired, briefing a whole agency when Facebook first changed its rules on political ads, and now running workshops with clients.

My methods are digital at heart: I know what a strategy asks of the people who plan, post and report on it, because I've done those jobs myself. And I still judge the work by where I started: does it land? Does it reach the people it's for?

If we meet at an event, you'll spot me: I'm usually the tallest person in the room. Standard sizes rarely fit, so I learned early to find what does. I work the same way.

Tell me what you’re working on

A few lines are enough. We'll take it from there: a coffee in Brussels
or a call from wherever you are.
